Favignana
Guests can take an hours drive to Marsala and then take a beautiful forty -five minute boat trip to the largest of the Egadi Islands, Favignana. Alternatively, a longer journey from Sciacca by boat is also possible. The island’s vast bay is dominated by The Fort of Santa Caterina, built by the Saracens, rebuilt by the Normans and used by the Bourbons as a prison. Favignana is characterised by its inviting beaches and coves, among which are Cala Azzurra, a small sandy bay; Cala Rossa, a rocky cove and the extensive Burrone Lido beach.
Mount Etna
Guests can take a thrilling voyage to Mount Etna with a forty five minute helicopter ride. The volcano dominates the surrounding landscape, making the journey truly spectacular. Following the flight, driving up Mount Etna in a mini-van and walking around extinct craters with an expert alpine guide perfectly adds to the adventure.
