Pilates*
A fitness programme designed and intended to stretch and strengthen muscles through the art of control. Control is achieved working with the center of gravity of the body, known as the "Power House", which includes all the muscles connected to the trunk of the body: abdomen, gluteus, inner thighs and lower back. If practised consistently Pilates can improve the physical condition of the body, creating a strong backbone which in turn results in good posture. Classes at Verdura are available for both beginner and advanced standards with our qualified instructor.
Fit Yoga
Unlike the original Yoga, Fit Yoga is not centred on the spiritual universe. Rather, it is aimed at improving physical strength, which in turn improves psychological well-being.
Stretching
Stretching exercises improve psychological well-being and help prevent injury to the muscles, tendons and joints. This class is recommended to anyone who wishes to gently awaken the body before embarking on physical exercise or simply to anyone who wants to spend some time relaxing.
GAG
Exercises focused on toning three key parts of the body: legs, abs and gluteus. Each of the three parts of the body will be worked on for 15 minutes, with different repetition exercises.
Fitball Back
Exercises with the help of Fitballs, perfect for those who suffer from back pain or simply wish to prevent it. Through a series of exercises with the Fitball that focus on breathing, developing flexibility, coordination, balance and muscle strength, good posture can be obtained.
Aqua Aerobics
Exercises carried out in the water with the body mainly in an upright position that are fun and yet effective, helping to achieve a state of general psychological well-being. This class can be practised by everyone, young and old, and even those who have difficulty participating in other exercise classes out of the water.
