What is Verdura like?
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is set across 530 acres of beautiful Sicilian landscape with 1.8km of private coastline, offering guests a relaxing and luxurious experience in a peaceful environment accompanied by outstanding service. There are huge, wide-open spaces in which to move, breathe and relax, and intelligently designed rooms and suites which offer comfort and privacy. The resort enjoys a good year-round climate, with warm sunshine and refreshing sea breezes for much of the year and mild winters. Verdura brings together stylish and comfortable accommodation, world-class golf and spa facilities, friendly children’s clubs and elegant restaurants and bars each with a different ambience. Created by Olga Polizzi, the interiors are pared-down and contemporary, yet unmistakably rooted in Sicilian culture. A warm botanical motif, drawn from an antique Sicilian majolica tile, is used to accentuate the soft furnishings, and the lights and furniture are custom-made in Italy.

What is the accommodation like?
Every room at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort has a private terrace or balcony overlooking the sea; some suites have inner courtyards planted with orange trees. Floor-to-ceiling French doors, with opaque shutters, ensure rooms enjoy plenty of natural light, and spacious pale stone bathrooms are accessed via walk-through wardrobes, with luxury bath products by Ortigia.

Is there Wi-Fi access?
Not at the spa; Wi-Fi is available at reception and in the bedrooms. To purchase access please speak to the Verdura reception team.

Am I obligated to attend talks, strolls or lessons?
No. Every guest selects their own leisure activities and the Vita Health Reception Team helps you plan these activities around your Vita Health programme schedule. Our doctors and therapists will advise you about the best way to achieve your goals.

What else is there to do besides my scheduled activities?
The programmes are designed to allow guests time for relaxation in the afternoons. With year-round warm weather and exquisite natural surroundings, Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is the perfect place to enjoy a favourite leisure activity, or learn a new one. Vita Health guests can discover the wide range of activities available at Verdura including golf, tennis, volleyball, football and water sports. Guests can also participate in fitness classes, indulge in beauty treatments at Verdura Spa, walk and bike around the resort at leisure, or simply relax by the pool or on the beach. Cultural activities such as sightseeing tours to explore the historic temples and neighbouring cities can also be arranged. Is there anything going on in the evenings?
Yes. Located in Verdura Spa, the Vita Health lounge provides a comfortable relaxation space exclusively for programme guests and is equipped with a library and a variety of board games. Verdura also has live music most evenings and many comfortable lounges in which to relax.

How long should I stay?
As your experience at Vita Health is designed to facilitate lifestyle transformation, the programmes are available on a one week or two-week basis. You may wish to extend your stay beyond the programme schedule and enjoy the resort and its surrounding areas further.

What type of clothing should I wear day to day?
Pack comfortable and casual clothes for the day; we recommend you also bring sportswear, trainers, swimming costumes, comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a sunhat.
